What we collect

Account data: phone number or email you sign up with, and credentials for social sign-in providers you choose to connect.

Profile data you provide during onboarding: name, date of birth, gender, orientation, preferences, interests, education, photos and location.

Usage data: interactions inside the app (likes, matches, messages), device and connection information needed to keep the service secure.

Registration drafts on your device

While you fill in the sign-up questionnaire, your answers are kept as a draft in your browser's session storage on your device only. The draft is erased when you close the tab, finish registration or choose “Exit and discard answers”. It is not transmitted anywhere until you submit the form.

Location

Fondora shows people nearby, which requires your location. You can grant precise location access, set a point manually on the map, or continue without it. Other users never see your exact position — only the distance in kilometres.

How we use data

To operate matching and chat, personalise recommendations, keep the community safe (moderation, anti-abuse) and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

Profile information you choose to show is visible to other users according to your settings. We share data with service providers (hosting, analytics, communications) only to the extent needed to run Fondora, under contracts that protect it.

Your rights

You can access and edit your profile at any time, and delete your account in Settings — deletion permanently removes your account and everything linked to it. Depending on your jurisdiction you may also have rights to data portability, restriction and objection.

Retention and security

We keep data only as long as your account exists or as the law requires. Data is protected with encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews.
